Author unable to add custom placeholder to template

I have created a custom placeholder based on a custom placeholder that
works.
Obviously I changed the class name, etc and the project builds without
any errors. I have added the custom PH to my ToolBox successfully. But
I cannot drag the PH onto the template. I get a cursor with a circle
and line across it indicating that the PH can't be added. I have added
a definition for it in the template item also.

Any ideas why I can't add it to the template? It is only slightly
different from the original 'working' custom PH.

I closed vs.net and restarted it - now it's working....go figure!!
