Cannot specify Web Entry Point
|
|

| Hi,
I have what I think is a configuration problem that is preventing the SCA
from creating a web entry point for Read Only and Read Write web sites.
I can pick the web site to specify as the web entry point in the 'MCMS
Configuration Application - Web Server Configuration' page in the SCA, but
when I ok out of this dialog, i get:
'Unexpected Error!Failed to create Microsoft Content Management Server Entry
Point" with message, "Invalid Range of parameters passed to function" in the
detail of the error dialog.
I am running this server on a Virtual Machine - Win 2003, MCMS 2002 SP2,
ASP.NET 2.
I have the CMS folder specified within my web app.
I am tempted to try a reinstall of MSCMS 2002 SP2 but am not sure if this
will resolve the problem.

| Hi Stephen,
this is not a known issue.
I would suggest to either reinstall MCMS or to open a support case for this.
Cheers,
Stefan
