Hi Stefan

I've run this SQL Query: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318976

the returned value are 131669

In the SCA I've have the following:

1) Maximum Disk Cache Size (MB) Set to Use Local Override with the value
5120

2) Maximum Nodes in Memory Cache Use Global default 35000

I have 16 gb ram on a 64 bit box and 41 gb on the disk

If I start the task manager the Physical memory are:

Total 16776288
Available 14836464
System cache 506952

What can you recommend at 1+2 ?

Cheers
Wiper

Hi Wiper,

1) needs to be as big as the files in your resource gallery.

2) this needs to be 35000 at a maximum when using /2GB mode and can be 70000
if running in /3GB mode.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Wiper,

1) all resource together. So you should have 17 gb free disk space and this
as the disk cache size to be sure.

2) no. the physical memory does not matter. A single process on 32 bit
machines can never exceed 4 GB. And these 4 GB can be split into 2GB
System/2GB user memory in 2GB mode or 1GB System/3GB user memory.
So you can never have more than 3 GB on a 32 bit machine.

Cheers,
Stefan
