Author Warnings in the Event log

Hi

I'm getting a lot of warnings - does someone know how to fix theese?

1) Event id 2004
CommitChanges() - Warning: Node d not committed or rolled back at start of
commit.

2) Event id 2602
An unrecognized request was received by the CMS ISAPI Filter. The request
was mapped to the CMS read-only resource cache virtual directory but the URL
format did not correspond to a CMS Resource. The CMS ISAPI Filter did not
process the request and allowed IIS to handle it instead. The requested URL
was '/NR/rdonlyres/4DFE957D-BBA8-4231-9E14-3EC15C34A7D9/0/

The site works fine - but regarding number 2 - I know I have posted it
previously - but I would like to know how to get rid off them.

thx...

Hi Wiper,

1) you can ignore this event.

2) this indicates that MCMS items are opened using Office 2003 or above
clients. As you can see the URL ends with a slash. So this is a directory
like URL. Office tries to do a PROPFIND request against the URL it assumes
is the folder of the item it opens. But MCMS does not have a hierarchical
URL for resource gallery items.
So the URL is invalid. You can ignore this event.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan

we also get similar messages in the event log
----
An unrecognized request was received by the CMS ISAPI Filter. The request
was mapped to the CMS read-only resource cache virtual directory but the URL
format did not correspond to a CMS Resource. The CMS ISAPI Filter did not
process the request and allowed IIS to handle it instead. The requested URL
was '/NR/rdonlyres/FDD69358-B38F-4052-893C-08E35BA33E12/0/Sementm/'.
----

The resource is called "Sementmøllesteiner.jpg"
For each resource with a unicode character the MCMS writes an entry into the
application event log.
Can i change this?

Thanks

Göran

Hi Göran,

you should open a support call for this.

Cheers,
Stefan
