Site Manager - Export problem
|
|
| Diddle 2005-05-18, 8:50 pm |
| I've been trying to export from site manager and it hangs without any error.
The progress box says initialising 5% then hangs. No error is displayed.
I've tried reinstalling and repair and neither have had any effect. It's
definately not a size issue. Ive checked the logs in iis they show
NR/System/ClientUI/progress.asp 200
any ideas? I've been trying to fix this for hours now ;o(

| Hi Diddle,
that is not a known issue.
We would need to check if the hang is caused by SiteManager, the MCMS server
machine or in the database.
Does this happen with all exports or only with a specific one? Have you
tried to export a single posting or resource gallery item?
Maybe it is only one specific item that is causing this. Try different items
to verify this
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Diddle,
check the event log on the SQL server.
This can (e.g.) happen if the transaction log is full or the SQL server runs
out of disk space.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Diddle,
as indicated before: seems to be a problem with the SQL server.
This error message proofs again that the SQL server does not respond as
expected.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Diddle,
then you should open a support case to get this analyzed in more details.
Cheers,
Stefan
