Author Using SDAPI from sync'ing CMS content

We are about to implement a process that will perform an incremental export
from our production CMS server to a secondary one hosted elsewhere. On the
remote server, an automated import will be done. However a question was asked
how would a deletion be handled? For example, if a posting is deleted from
the source serve, would the incremental export pick this up? I am guessing
no. If so, what would be the recommended procedure to handle this? A periodic
full export and import? Is there an option in the SDAPI similiar to the
SiteManager change container options that would handle this situation?

Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,

incremental deployment will pick this up - if the deletion hasn't been done
through Site Manager where the item would reside in the deleted items
folder.
E.g. if deletion is done through web author incremental deployment will
delete the item on destination as well.

Cheers,
Stefan
