Author Inconsistant behavior using CmsNiceUrlHttpModule

I'm attempting to integrate the CmsNiceUrlHttpModule into the site I'm
developing and having an issue with inconsistant behavior. The
symptoms are this: on certain pages the javascript generated by the
module to initialize the "theForm" variable ( var theForm =
document.forms['aspnetForm']; ) is placed in the page after the
"__CMS_PostbackForm = theForm;" line which causes javascript errors
and causes the forms not to submit.

On other pages these code snippets are in the correct sequence and the
module works as advertised. To make things more interesting these
inconsistancies occur on pages using the same template & master page -
the only difference being relatively simple Web User Controls.

I do not believe that it's a problem with the module itself as it
seems to have withstood the test of time so I'm more curious if anyone
has any insight into what might cause these bits of code to be
generated in apparently different sequence. Here's some info about
the environment:

MCMS2002 version 5.0.5054.0 SP2
ASP.NET 2.0.50727
Using Master Pages
C# language

Web User Controls are inserted programmatically into some pages by
reading a value from a placeholder in order to allow us to have one
"Application" template which can contain all of our various forms &
apps, but some of the pages created in this manner work & some don't
so I don't think that this is the problem.

The "out of order" code generation does seem to happen consistanly on
our content-only postings, so perhaps it has something to do with the
sequence of events being fired or something like that.

I would really like to use this module because it keeps the user
insulated from the true nature of MCMS so I welcome any thoughts or
advice. It is my sincere hope that I have just overlooked something
simple and will have one of those Homer Simpson "d'oh" moments when
the solution presents itself, but I've been reading everything I could
find and messing with it for a while and I finally decided that I've
been outsmarted and need to ask for help.

Stefan,

Thanks again for the updated module. I built it, plugged it in and it
worked perfectly.

For everyone else, here's what Stefan said 02.15.2007 about the newest
version of the CmsNiceUrlHttpModule:

"I have uploaded the updated version to GotDotNet yesterday.
Should be avail in the next 2-3 days."

so if you're having any issues with this particular facet of MCMS
here's an avenue to try.
