What are the limits to site size in MCMS 2001?

Our fearless leaders statewide are calling for a major look & feel
transition, for which we'd like to temporarily double the size of our site
during the transition.

-- we use the "map channel names to host header names" option. Is there a
maximum number of such top-level channels?
-- maximum number of channels / folders?
-- maximum number of postings / pages?
-- maximum database size?

Thanks much,

Hi John,

there is no limit.
But you need to ensure that a single container does not contain more then
200 direct childs. E.g. a channel must not contain more than 200
postings+direct child channels.

There is no limit. But to be a good neighbor for non-CMS content on the same
machine you should keep it as small as possible. If this machine is only for
CMS you can have up to 200
