MCMS content -> flat file website
|
|
|
| Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to export MCMS site content to unmanaged
flat files.
I've been told that we want to keep MCMS development on one machine and then
export the site so that we can quickly transfer it to another web server on
separate box that doesn't run MCMS.
Thanks for any information,
Ajay

| You may also want to try this product, Offline Explorer Pro from
MetaProducts. We have been using this with great success to create/download
static copies of out CMS sites for compliance/SOX reasons and archive them on
CD/DVD.

| Tom, Stefan, thanks for the info, I'll give those suggestions a go.
Especially nice to get a response from Stefan! In the year and a half I've
worked with MCMS I've frequently read your technet blog (though probably not
thoroughly enough).
Thanks again to both of you,
Ajay
