CMS 2002 to Sharepoint 2007 Upgrade & License

| We currently have CMS2002, and would like to move to the Sharepoint. We have
software assurance, so the licensing should be covered. The question is will
our CMS2002 serial number work with Sharepoint, or is there some form of
conversion process?

| Hi.
You're product key for MCMS won't work with MOSS, however a seperate key for
MOSS will be provided if you are on SA.
Basically there is a two stage conversion:
1.) Migrate data from the MCMS database to MOSS using the migration tool
which is built in to SharePoint Central Admin
2.) Migrate your existing MCMS ASP.NET application to Page Layouts/Master
Pages in MOSS.

Hello,
As Spencer said, the new licence with the new media have been/will be

one month ago.
