We provide support for multiple client using the Microsoft CMS. One of
our customers has a rare problem. On the homepage there are about 6
htmlplaceholders. On two of them there is a performance issue when
trying to create a hyperlink. It takes somewhere around 5 minutes for
the hyperlink dialog to pop up. On the other 4 html placeholders they
show up instantly. The also isn't any problems while loading
attachments or images in those 2 'slow' htmlplaceholders.

Does anyone has an idea what could be causing the problem? It are
normal htmlplaceholders and I'm using the defealt editor. The MCMS
Server is completely up to date (Service pack 2 installed) and the
same for the server it self (Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Boyd,

I haven't heard about this.
You should open a support case for this.

Cheers,
Stefan
