Renaming Multiple Files
|
|
|
| Hi,
I've reviewed the previous posts regarding renaming files however, I did not
see anything that addresses what I am trying to accomplish.
I have 12 folders containing 107 text documents in each. I am trying how to
figure out how to rename each with a name contained in each document.
Example:
Current file name for one file is R0004436
Example of a Field Identifier to pull from for this file would be ABC (as
mentioned, each document has its own unique identifier)
What script would I run to batch change each?
Hope this is clear. Thank you for your help.

| Hi Tammy,
this newsgroup focuses on Microsoft Content Management Server questions.
I cannot see any relationship to MCMS in your post.
Please either explain the issue in more details (in case it is MCMS related)
or post the question into the appropriate newsgroup.
Thanks,
Stefan
