Hi

in a 2001 installation the "RdOnlyRes" folder resides in the folder:
<Installation drive>\Program files\Microsoft Content Management
server\server\IIS_NR\ and contains 6,84 GB data ...

Then I've completed the migration process and migrated to CMS 2002 mixed
mode and the folder now resides in :
<Installation drive>\Program files\Microsoft Content Management
server\server\ (missing the IIS_NR folder) and only contains 1.76 GB data
and further more now contains a 'MigratedResources' folder with 7,03 KB data

What's going on ?

Do I need to manually move the RdOnlyRes and place it where the 2001 had it
?

Hi Wiper,

this directory is only a cache.
After restarting the server this directory should be empty.
While pages are requested and resources are downloaded the directory fills
with data.

Cheers,
Stefan

Ok -

So I then interpret this like I don't need the data in this folder upon
startup and all the resourses resides in the database ?

Cheers

Hi Stefan

moved the data from to Old_RdOnlyRessources -and rebooted the servers
started our Mondo searh and now in the event viewer I get the following
warnings (theres a lot of them)

""An unrecognized request was received by the CMS ISAPI Filter. The request
was mapped to the CMS read-only resource cache virtual directory but the URL
format did not correspond to a CMS Resource. The CMS ISAPI Filter did not
process the request and allowed IIS to handle it instead. The requested URL
was
'/NR/rdonlyres/ evm5smh44oq7khw5tiuqlllbr33aq4jgqqyj73kl
cp2gzyjpgisfocsyur2hkrrbcdfhgudpophzy6uu
simefrjthld/document1.pdf'.

do I need to worry about the warnings ?
