Problem with authorized to view page with VS.2005
|

|
| Hi
I have some problem with VS.2005
This is my first site in VS.2005+MCMS
When I try to go to edit mode of posting I have this error:
You are not authorized to view this page
HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
I created another Application Pool (for VS.2005 sites)
I created in my site virtual directory CMS ….. all things like i did with
VS.2003...
What can I do with it?

| Hi Yana,
if you need different application pools you have to use different websites.
There is no way to have two MCMS web applications in the same website
running on different application pools due to the fact that the MCMS ISAPI
filter sits in the root but needs to have access to the web application.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Yana,
are you using the same name in the URL or different names?
Are you using the same port?
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hello Stefan
In server i have 2 port: 80 - it's read only and 82-read wright.
now i creat MCMS Framework.2 site and it's cause of problem.
i using same port but different headers (for MCMS Framework.2 and MCMS
Framework.1)
MCMS Framework.2 sites and MCMS Framework.2 sites can't be on same
Application Pool....

| Hi Yana,
correct. You need different applicaiton pools.
Why can't you access the other site form remote?
Is there a firewall in front that blocks port 82?
Anyway: this is more an IIS as a MCMS problem.
Please post this to an IIS related newsgroup.
Cheers,
Stefan
