| Our organisation has recently upgraded our cms web site from vs 2003 to 2005.
A cms template uses a 2003 web service, written by ourselves.
The web service is located on our dmz server. The web service, called on
the dmz server, works with the 2003 site (local, authoring, and live (hosted
externally)). We can also use the 2003 web service with our new 2005 web
site locally and on the live external site.
However, it refuses to run on any internal server, with the web service
pointing dynamically to the dmz server. I've just proved that internal calls
are still working on the visual studio 2003 web site.
The actual error message is:-
The request failed with HTTP status 407: Proxy Authentication Required ( The
ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web
Proxy service is denied.
is there any difference in how cms handles authentication under visual
studio 2003, 2005? Any other ideas?
