Stefan,
I want to be sure on the real issue here.
First I talked to another developer who does have .NET 3.0 on his machine
and can sucessfully utilize Site manager.
Then I tried to use Site Manager on my PC to first access an MCMS database
on our test server (win2003) - no problem. Then I tried accessing an MCMS
database on a neighboring development PC - again no problem.

In both of the latter cases I am using the Site Manager client locally, so
does that suggest the problem is with the web service not the client? If so
where or what is the web service being called - maybe that is where I would
ensure it is using the correct version of .NET?
