| HI all,
I have an MCMS instance which is refusing to talk to sql 2005. It has
service pack 2 and the hotfix. I always says it cannot connect, and
when running the DCA I notice a cmd.exe process that runs at 50-80%
cpu usage. Has anyone else seen this? I have already reinstalled
MCMS on the server to no avail. Additionally, this server used to
talk to the sql instance fine, but I'm thinking a windows update broke
it maybe.

| Hi Chandy,
that is not a known issue.
You should open a support call for this or rebuild the box.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Chandy,
I have not personally done this, but I know that there is a
script that you have to run when migrating to sql 2005.
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/906145. Hope that
helps.
