| I installed CMS2002-KB924429-FullFile-ENU.EXE on three systems unter
windows 2003 with MCMS2002SP2. I got never an feedback, wheter the
install was sucessfull. Application Log says:

--> Cms2002.xml is missing
--> In the registry version 5.0.5054.0 is shown.
Questions:
- Why is there no feedback from the hotfix
- Why have all files the right versions but in the registry the wrong
Version (not 5.0.5317.0, see
http://groups.google.at/group/micro...3d9bce7abcfdbcf)
Is there any Possibility to install CMS2002-KB924429-FullFile-ENU.EXE
with sensible feedback

to your questions:
Q: why is there no feedback from the hotfix
A: by design
Q: version question
A: hotfixes do not change the version in the registry. Only service packs
Q: possibility to install with feedback
A: this is not possible.
