CMS Toolbar buttons not displaying images
|
|
| HokieRTP 2007-05-31, 7:19 pm |
| When in edit mode, some of our authors are not seeing the pictures on the CMS
Toolbar buttons. For example, the cut, copy, and paste buttons are there but
the icons that display on those buttons (scissors, paintbrush, etc.) are not
showing. This just began occurring today and I can't seem to find anything
that might be going on here.
This does not happen for all our users, just some in particular. All are
running the same OS and have the same patches, dlls, etc.
Has anyone seen this before?
TIA

| Hi,
please have a look in the IIS log and search for 404 errors or 401 when
accessing the images.
Might be that these images have been removed or as if the permissions on
these files have been changed in a way that these people are no longer
allowed to access them.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Stefan - We didn't find errors, but we did find that the registry files
for them to access the CMS toolbar were corrupted so we re-registered the
files and all has been fine. It occured about the same time as the .net 3.0
framework update came out. Not really sure that was it, as this client has
other hardware and update issues!
Thanks for your help!
