I just did a security update (Microsoft Security Bulletin MS07-018:
Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Content Management Server Could Allow Remote
Code Execution (925939) for the MCMS server and now I am prompted to
re-install the CMS HTML Editor again?

Do i have to re-install this everytime when I update MCMS? What about the
Authoring Connector? Do i have to re-install it as well?

Thanks

Hi Mindy,

this hotfix contains a new version of the active x control.
Not all hotfixes update this component.

You don't have to reinstall authoring connector.

Cheers,
Stefan
