I have a cms site that working for few years. Now i want to revamp the site.
So i want to use the existing postings.But the template defenitions sholud
change.... i would like to add new placeholders... etc

Can anyone point out some best practices that i should follow...

Hi,

you can easily add new placeholder definitions using MCMS template explorer
and also new placeholder controls to the template files.
That will not harm your existing site.

Just be aware that the content of these placeholders will be empty for
existing posting before you add content to them.
