Hi group

Just restored a MSCMS database, but there are no job in the SQL server agent
that does the Background processing (so I created one)

But are there any other jobs that should be executed by the SQL server agent
regarding the MS CMS 2002 database ?

Hi,

this job will be created when you run the DCA.
So just run the DCA again an the job should be created.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi stefan

I did run the DCA and pointed to the restored database - the message was
just that it "already contained the schema, do you wish to continue..." - but
no job was created. (at least no visible job in the SQL server agent)

Hi HW,

then I assume that the user that ran the DCA did not have write permissions
in the master database.

Cheers,
Stefan
