I am currently working on an HP machine with Windows XP home installed. I can
get the machine to start and load windows, the desktop then flickers the
icons and displays a blue screen stating that windows has been shut down to
prevent damage and displays the following;

***STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005,0x80572D0F,0xF796FB40,0xF796
F83C)
I managed to restart and get enough time to uninstall limewire which is the
most recently installed software but then it flickers and goes to blue screen
again. I tried to start in safe mode but it goes straight to the bluescreen
and shows the following stop message;

***STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7BEE528,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x0000
0000)

the stop message I have dealt with in the past generally provide a file name
but this one has me stumped - any assistance would be appreciated.
