How to roll out HtmlPlaceholder Eidtor ActiveX to all client machi
|

|
| Hi
I have more than 60 clients (authors) updating the website. These users does
not administrative right to install the Eidtor ActivieX control. When there
is an update of the ActiveX control, I have to login as administrator and
install it. It is getting very tedious to update 60 computers for each
update. Is there any way to to roll out the update and automatically install
the ActiveX control on the client machine? The preinstalling the MCMS ActiveX
controls methods does not help since the user does not have right to run the
REGSVR32.
I found this article at
http://blogs.technet.com/stefan_gos.../12/403619.aspx , it
mentioned to use MSI package, however, it does not have enough details to get
me started. When can I download the MSI package?
Please provide more instructions....
Thanks! Thanks!...

| Hi Mindy,
you can use SMS to roll out the active x control.
Cheers,
