Hi

We are currently run MCMS Version 2 Enterprise edition with the lastest SP.
We are planning to upgrade it to sharepoint server.

1. Which version should we upgrade to?
The mcms website is managed by internal staff through the intranet website.
The office Sharepoint Server 2007 for Internet sites is just for non-employee
only, does it mean I have to purchase CALs or the employees have to manage
the content through the internet?

2. Does sharepoint server completely replace the MCMS? Can I install the
SharePoint Server in the MCMS server at the same time and run the migration
tool?

Hi Mindy,

I'm not a licensing expert, so I cannot answer your first question.

Regarding your second questions: yes it replaces MCMS completly. And yes you
can install MCMS and MOSS on the same box.
