Author Forced Guest Access for Resource Gallery Items

I have a local MCMS website that is setup with guest access turned
on. I have administrator access to the site. However, whenever I try
to view a resource (either on a page or previewed through the resource
gallery) it only checks the guest access, i.e. if my guest account has
access to the resource gallery I can view the items, but if the guest
account doesn't have access I get a "page cannot be found" error even
though I'm an administrator. My website is setup for Windows
Authentication, and I've tried setting up the NR virtual directory
with windows authentication, anonymous, and both, but to no avail.

I have a similar issue in our dev environment where the website runs
with anonymous authentication running under a specific service
account. If the guest account has access to the resource gallery then
the resources can be viewed, but if the guest account doesn't have
access and the service account does have access, the resources cannot
be viewed.

Any ideas?

Hi,

if the user is an MCMS administrator he should be able to see all items.
If this is not the case you should open a support case for this.

Cheers,
Stefan
