All,

I don't know if this is the right place but it only seems to happen for my
websites using commerce server. my OS is Windows 2000 sp4 and iis 6.0

I'm getting the following error when I boot my machine and when I try to
access a website local to my machine

DCOM got error "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. " and was unable to
logon DOMAINNAME\userlogin in order to run the server:
{C3F7CA2E-AB6C-45D5-A2DA-7B8F4F44D056}

I recently had to change my password for userlogin and this issues started
occuring.
In my research I found many references to this error except it was the
IWAM_YOURMACHINE user not my userlogin.

I've research through my regustry and ran dcomcnfg, but to no avail can I
find my login so i can change the password to my new one. I went through
commerce server manager and checked all the global sources and sites

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Barry

Hi,

Not sure if this is a Commerce specific issue. A couple of places to check
would be the Administrative Tools-> Component Sevices MMC and check the
services which are running under your user accout. You might need to update
that.

A last resort might be to look for password updating tools which might help
you achieve this. You might also want to check the event viewer for any
other details around this error.

Thanks,
