Invalid Connection Information for OLAP Server
|
|
|
| Hi, when i create as Commerce C# ASP.Net Web Application, it invokes the wizard and starts unpacking a default ecommerce site with the site name provided by me.
The issue is in the DataWarehouse Screen. Inspite of providing the Data Warehouse name, once i click ok it says unspecified error and then gives the following message "Invalid Connection Information for OLAP Server".
I am unable to trace this problem.
Any help wud be appreciated.
Thanks
Yatin

| Hi Yatin,
There is a known issue with Commerce Server DW/A unpacking if the SQL
Server is remote. You will need to install SQL Server Analysis on the
local machine, then unpack the DW/A component. After this is complete this
you may remove SQL Server
