We are running a Commerce Server site that work fine if I
use a DB server that is not a Domain controller but as
soon as I use a DC the site will not function. I get this
error in on one of the pages "Commerce.DBStorage
error '8004d00a'

InitStorage encountered the following error while trying
to access the database specified by the connection
string: New transaction cannot enlist in the specified
transaction coordinator.

/Information/include/std_ordergrp_lib.asp, line 82
"

Commerce Server 2000 by the way. Any ideas on this one?

First of all, SQL server on domain controller is not recommended for
performance and security reasons.

Secondly, from the error message, please take a look the DTC service on the
DC.
There are tools such as DTCPing, DTCTester can also help in diagonsing DTC
issues.

I am assuming you can browse to home page and product catalog without error
since the error is about DBStorage.
