| As I mentioned in my first reply as well as in Zoe' reply you posted, DTC
on windows 2003 does not allow network access by default.
You can enable it from add/remove windows components.
From what you decribed, this is the issue.
After you enabled DTC allow network access on all windows 2003 server
involded. Please do the following:
1. stop mssql services
2. stop DTC service on both machines
3. Start the dtc services on both machines
4. start mssql servvices.
If you have DTCPing or DTCTester utilities, you can test DTC works or not
after that.

DTC is enabled on both machines...
I looked up a KB that talks about DTC and CS2002, but it seems to
apply to any other site but Retail2002. They switch out one component
for another that does not require confirmation, but I cannot find a
similar component in Retail2002.
Any ideas on this?
Thanks,
-Ryan
