| Hello all,
I am trying to deploy a custom pipeline component to our
pre-production environment (Windows 2000 Server, Commerce Server 2002,
SP1, .NET Framework v1.1.4322).
I have successfully tested the component in our testing environment,
but continue to get the following error when trying to access the
pre-production environment web page which calls the Total pipeline
where the custom component is used:
Pipeline Error: Component Execution failed for component[0xC] hr:
0x80004003
ProgID: Commerce.ShippingMethodRouter.1
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I have checked all the newsgroup related articles I could fine for
deploying custom components (including the Product Documentation) and
I am still unable to get past this error.
I followed the procedures below:
1. Deployed assembly to Server
2. Registered signed assembly in the GAC
3. Used regasm.exe utility to create the type library
4. Used PipeReg.exe to register component in All Stages using type
library above
5. Restarted IIS
I would greatly appreciate any assistance and/or insight on this
matter.
