Hi,
I am troubleshooting an existing CS2K2+Great Plains Business Solutions.
I am trying to package the production site and keep getting the error below
in the pup log

"[16:37:36] Unable to access the administration database. Use Commerce
Server Manager to verify or change the administration database connection
string. 1A8:Object required
[16:37:36] Exit status code for this session: -1"

What cause this error?
I checked the connection string in Commerce Server Manager, test the
connection and it is fine.

Thanks

Does the user have write access to the administration database? Are you
using integrated security? Can you test it with SQL security?

I am not using integrated security, I use the sa account in the
connection string. The sql server is on different box that I don't
think I have full rights as windows user.

The Commerce Server Config component is set to run in interactive user
mode.

I will try the integrated security.
