What is the error message?
Have you tried deleting it using the CatalogManager objects ?

hi Vinayak, thanks for you answer
there's no error message, the product just doesn't go away, i've succesfully
deleted it
using CatalogManager objects and directly through the database, i also used
the sql
profiler to check what can be happenning, maybe the problem is that the
product was
included in an order and deleting it would cause inconsistent data and
reports?
