MSIB help after install getting access denied

| I;m getting an access denied problem for the ASPNET account with this trace:
SharedFns.WriteToEventLog(....)
Microsoft.CommerceServer.Interop.SiteConfigReadOnlyFreeThreaded.Initialize(...)
.....
I've looked around the newsgroups and found one regarding this problem. I
tried the adding Webuser account to the pool, physical temp folder, etc...but
still getting the same problem. When I try to access a CMS site that we've
done before, it runs fine. When I just try to access /msib21 folder, it
gives me the error.
Please help!!!!

| Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.
Please provide more information, what OS are you using for the web server
and the SQL server? If installing in a single machine then there is a very
good document included in the MSIB documentation on how to build MSIB in a
single machine. For a distributed environment then there are a couple of
additional steps. Would you please confirm single vs. distributed?
Windows 2003 vs Windows 2000?
