Installing Commerce Server 2002 on Windows Server 2003

| Hi, I´m installing Commerce Server 2002 on Windows Server 2003, if I install
Commerce Server 2002 SP3, I must perform the steps in the Commerce Server
2002 SP2?

| I believe that both SP2 and SP3 come with a SetupDevEdition.exe so you
should be able to follow the SP3 instructions for installing on Windows
Server 2003 or Windows XP. Basic approach is to run SetupDevEdition.exe to
install Commerce Server, then run the SP3 setup to apply SP3 on top of
CS2002.

I installed Commerce Server onto Windows 2003 two days ago. The
SetupDevEdition.exe didn't work on 2003, but evidently does on XP.
In answer to your question Jorge, you don't need to run the SP2 instructions
if you run SP3. Follow the readme instructions that come with SP3 and it
installs fine.
Of course, there are some new tools in FP1 (feature pack) for Commerce
Server 2002. If you install this feature pack you do not need to install
SP3. If you have already installed SP3 you can then install FP1, no problem.
