Question on the size of the cart?

Hi All,
Does anyone know about any limit on the LineItems in the cart? What’s the
maximum number of line items that can be added in the cart? And is there any
performance issues on adding LineItems to the cart till that maximum limit?

I'm not sure if there is a limit but we limit the number to 100 . We
encoutered preformance problems with carts over 100 line items
