MS Commerce Server 2002 Enterprise Edition Installation Problem

| Our OS is Windows 2003 Server with .NET framework 1.1 installed, then we have
installed Visual Studio 2003.
Then after installing prerequisite softwares for CS, we try to install CS
2002 Enterprise Edition. During installation a prompt appears saying that
..NET framework not installed and whether .NET framework to be
installed.Clicking 'Yes' installs .NET Framework 1.0 in the machine through
the installation shield of CS.As .NET Framework 1.1 is already installed ,so
we click 'No' and proceed with CS installation. After CS installation we go
ahead with installing SP3, FP1 for CS.
Then when we try to create a new CS application a message appears stating:
'Visual Studio could not identify the version of ASP.NET on the Web server.
The Web server reported the following error when attempting to create or open
the Web project located at the following URL:
'http://hsklismsdf0003/newcsapp'. 'HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized'.
Do you want to continue?'
This error does not appear when we try to create a simple ASP.NET web
application.
Inspite of the error , CS application gets created and we are able to see
the BizDesk for the same.
I have executed the aspnet_regiis -i command from command prompt to register
asp.net version with the IIS.
I have also checked the Web Service Extensions for ASP.NET 1.1 in IIS.
Can you tell me why this Error mesaage occured?

| Hi Anirban,
you need see "Installing Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1" in Commerce
Server FP1 Help file.
You need install firts SP2 and you need install .net framework 1.0 SP2 too
if you like work with Retail2002 pup.

| Hi Anirban,
You need before install CS2002 SP2 and you need install .net framework 1.0
SP2 if you need work with retail.pup. If you install CS2002FP1 no need
install CS2002SP3
