Virtual catalogues slow...

| Hi,
I have a few virtual catalogues based on my main cat, basically dealer
priced versions of the main.
Whilst browsing and searching the base catalogue response is very
quick, however there is a noticeable (but not unacceptable) delay when
assigened to a virtual one.
Is this to be expected? Is there anything I can do to or common
practices that would help alliveate this problem.
It seems the DB is working much harder. Barely a blip when using the
base cat, but a noticeable spike on both processors for the virtual
cats.

| There is a vbscript available which will "materialize" your virtual catalogs
(tables instead of views). This greatly improves the runtime performance.
The "MaterializeVC.vbs" script can be found in the \Program Files\Commerce
Server 2002\Support folder. The instructions on how to use this can be found
in the CS2002 help file.
