Exclude item from Order Discount

| Is there a built-in way to exclude one particular item from an order-level
discount?
What we have is a subscription product which already has discounting. We
have a 10% off volume discount. This campaign item already has an expression
that it doesn't allow this product to count in figuring the order total
(expression).
That works fine - that product doesn't count toward the order total when
looking for a minimum purchase amount.
However, when other products are in the cart, and those other products add
up to the volume discount threshold, the *entire* order is discounted,
including the subscription product.
Is there another expression or setting or something in BizDesk or the
pipeline I can tweak that will cause this product to not count at all in the
discounting?

| A discount has 2 expression associated with it: Condition expression and
Award expression. The Condition expression must be the one you are talking
about, the one that doesnt allow the product to be counted towards order
total. Award expression will determine what "goodies" this discount is
allowed to give. Try put a similar clauses in the Award expression that
exclude your already discounted product from the Award.
