I have several pages that don't have any CMS placeholders, but I still
need to access the cmshttpcontext to generate the menus.
What is the best technique for setting the
cmshttpcontext.current.channel once I know where in the channel
hieracrchy I want to be?

Hi John,

Wrong group. Try microsoft.public.cmserver.general

Cheers,
Colin
