Hi ,

I´ve a problem with authentication with CS and AS.

When I configure a CS for Windows Integrated in IIS and execute a BIZdesk
from a workstation I receive a error box with message below :

Cannot connect Analisys Server , OLEDB Provider for Microsoft Analysis
Server 8.0

If I configure with basic integration and execute from station works fine.

So, the problem appears a configuration problem when IIS try to connect
with AS.

Running from CMS/CS Server works fine too.

I readed an article that provides information about NTLM about 1 hop for
credentials. Is it correct ?

Any Idea ?

TIA,

Ravi Shankar

I think the issue is that when you're using Windows Authentication with
BizDesk, the account you're connecting as should be part of the OLAP
Administrators group on the Analysis Server.

There is a document from Microsoft which talks about deploying CS in a secure
environment. This document would help you establish a proper AD Infrastructre
for deployment.

Specifically to OLAP Services there is a document that talks about
clustering Analysis Services on Win2003. The clsutering portion would be
irrelevant to you but the setting up of the OLAP Administrative group and
permissions would solve your problem

HI,

We installed CS according with documentation from MCS. However, MCS
consultant installed out enviroment and checklist all confirations.

But, when we tried to execute in QAS or PRD envitoment, the troubles started.

At this week, a MCS consultant tried to help us , but leave the
configuration in basic authetication , because integrated not works.

I need a help to configure windows integrated with access OLAP server.

The error reported is OLEDB provider for Microsoft Analysis server 8.0 error

Native error : 1251 or 1451 - ( sorry, I dont remember correct code )

TIA,

In OLap server , all acoounts had granted rights according with MCS
documentation.

I don´t know if the problem stay in communication with WEB -> SQL -> OLAP.

I believe that kerberos solve the problem.

I´m read another article from MCS about configuiration and problems with
kerberos auth.

Only enable thnis options.

Via GPedit.msc

Network Access: Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users

VIA Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControl
Set\Control\Lsa\
everyoneincludesanonymous
