This is a sporadic problem. There is a product that has multiple
variants and a few of the variants can not be updated. I am trying to
update the quantity field for several items, some of them accept it,
and some of them don't when I press Save. There are no errors in the
Event Logs, there is no error when I press Save. It is strange. I go
back into the properties to look at the variants and those few variants
do not accept the changes.

It doesn't make any sense at all. I've even exported and reimported
the catalog, just in case. Any ideas?

Does that product exists in more than one category ? I faced this kind
of problem. I figured it out that if the variant exists in more than
one category, i was not able to update all times.
