How to persist the value for basket LineItem property

In my basket LineItem, I have defined a customerized property which I need to
persist between login/logoffs. How could I do that?

By what you've defined, the value would be getting persisted (unless it
starts with an '_'). To ensure it happens between logoffs... you should do a
basket.save() before a logoff
