Property Website using Commerce server

| This question may be not be easy to answer but would appreciate if any
commerce server experts are willing to analyze and help.
As I’m planning to setup a website like www.loopnet.com and www.realtor.com,
I have some issues which I need to clarity.
1.Is commerce server suitable for building a property website? Or is it
better that I start programming from scratch?
2.If it’s suitable, how many functions which are built in commerce server
can help me to save time building the property website?
3.Which commerce server edition do I need to purchase if I’m going to use it
for the website?
4.After analyzing and based on your estimation, how much more programming
work does I need to put in. (In percentage)
