How can I get MS Retail solution which was using ASP pages. All I can find
is their new version which is using aspx pages. Also does anyone have a site
which I could use as a starter site for our commerce site base on Server
2003 and CS2002. Solution available from MS at present it's just about
impossible to customize.

Help greatly apprecaited - Mark

You should try the CS2002 Starter Site available here:
http://www.microsoft.com/commercese...nsites2002.mspx

It is ASP.NET based (which is the suggested development platform and the
only one supported in the next version of CS) and very easy to customize.

I've installed FP1 and I'm having a lot of problems customizing it - another
issue I need to decide is: we have about 20 stores running using SSCE - each
has it's own assortment of product. Should I develop one site with 20
different catalogs or 20 different sites?
Suggestions are very much appreciated - Mark

In my opinion, you should develop one site with 20 catalogs.
Managing 20 sites will be a lot of trouble than managing 20 catalogs in one
site

I think that's what I'm going to do. Where can I get the retail site in
ASP - or would you happen to have or know of some one who can package up a
site which I could then customize. If I need to pay a fee for doing that I'm
OK with that.
Please let me know - Mark

Commerce Server 2000 used to ship an ASP based retail site named Retail .
If you had Commerce Server 2000 maybe you can try unpupping that site on
CS2002.

I am sorry, I dont know anyone who has developed an ASP based Retail site
and who would be willing to share it.
Maybe someone from the group can help you.
All the best!
