| I'm not sure what happened but -
I created new catalog - added new product - edited product to add couple of
variants so far so good.
When I go to the website my new product is displayed - however when I click
on the product I get an empty page (Default.aspx) in lieu of item showing
two different variants. I guess there is a problem with the variants but how
do I find out what is it.
Also - as an alternative I could reload BizDesk so I get all new
definitions - but how can I reload just the BizDesk without unpacking whole
site again?

| Does your site include code to return product variants or just products? Can
you see the product variants in the BizDesk? Did you refresh the catalog
cache? Just a few things to look at.

I used to be able to show variants - and my catalogs have variants enabled.
I deleted all catalogs in hopes to import original catalog for AdventreWorks
but now I'm getting an error importing something to the effect :
"The XML Schema Definition for the Category or Product Definition
'GenericProduct' does not match the actual definition in the Catalog System.
You need to either correct the XML Schema Defintion in the XML file or
modify the existing definition in the catalog system."
I did restart IIS before I worked on properties. - what's the option for
restoring catalog schemas? or how do I reinstall just the bizdesk?

| Thanks that worked.
Now I've created new product definition and new product properties. Went to
create new catalog with new product. When I create new product in the
catalog I assign Product ID and a Variant ID - then edit Product Properties
to add new variants and that all works fine. However when I look at the
product on the webpage, product page shows ok on Product.aspx page but when
I click on the product to get to the details SimpleProduct.aspx I get
redirected to Default.aspx and no product variants are displayed.
When I used Adventure Works catalog I can see product Variants.
Where am I going wrong?

| Is it possible for you to debug the aspx page and see where and why it is
redirecting to the default page?
Thanks
