Hi all,

I have managed to configure the CS 2007 Starter Site with the help of people
on this discussion group.

It might be stupid to ask but is there any biz desk for this starter site?
Since I am unaware of things I don't how can I or how would I be able to
configure things?

Basically I wanted to configure products and catalogs on the Starter Site
hence this question came to my mind.

Please if some one could guide me on this please!

Many thanks
Shriroop

Hello Shriroop,

Commerce Server 2007 doesn't have BizDesk in it (and we thank the product
team for that). BizDesk functionality has been replaced by a number of discrete
windows apps plus some MOM packs for IT resources.

Hi Ben,

So how would one go about configuring the site.
I mean a simple thing like changing the product list or even simpler, just
adding a country to the list.

I have been looking how to do it but cannot find it.

Hello Shriroop,

As I said: there are management tools which replace BizDesk functionality.
I suggest you might want to read the documentation for the product (or at
least the Technical Overview).

Changing product information is through the Product Manager application,
adding site terms is via the
Customer and Orders Manager.

Hi Ben,

Many thanks for the answer. I did find them on the CS 2007 installation Disk
and have installed all of them and I can see the Starter Site Catalogue and
all other features all ready configured for Adventure Works.

Many thanks for your guidance.
