Does anyone know if the starter site (solution site) for CS2006 are available
yet? Is there one available to download?

Thanks.

Hey Andy,

The CS2006 Beta 1 Starter Site is available at the beta web site (http://connect.microsoft.com).

Cheers,
Colin

I know the Beta 1 is available to download. My question is the solution site
like "Retail2002" shipped with Commerce Sever 2002 where you can unpack to
deploy a frontend website.

Thanks.

Hey Andy,

The Starter Site is the evolution of the Retail 2002 site. It first shipped
with the Feature Pack 1 of CS2002. The CS2006 beta release of the Starter
Site is a separate download from the CS 2006 Beta 1 binaries. I don't believe
there are any plans to bring the old ASP "Retail 2002" into the CS2006 framework.
You might want to ask the question on the beta newsgroups.

Cheers,
Colin
