| The new BizTalk Adapters that will ship with Commerce Server 2006 will work
with BizTalk Server 2006 only. I believe BTS2006 is slated to RTM sometime
in late 1Q06 or early 2Q06 but these things can change. A June 06 deployment
for CS2006 may be pushing things since CS2006 isn't slated to ship till
sometime mid 2006.
One other thing. It might be better to see if your ERP system has some sort
of EDI/XML/B2B interface for processing inbound orders rather than trying to
insert CS2006 data directly into your SQL 2005 dbs. In my experience most
ERP systems perform all sorts of "business logic" during sales order
processing and bypassing this is probably not advisable. Just something to
keep in mind.
