We recently released a hotfix for a problem with this symptom. In that
case it was a .NET site and the error started occurring after an AppDomain
reset (e.g. changing the Web.config file will trigger the AppDomain to
reset).
You should be able to obtain the fix by contacting Microsoft Product
Support Services and referencing KB article 896902. Note, this article is
not yet public, but PSS should be able to direct you to the fix.
